About Cora
I have been teaching English and EAL in secondary schools for the last six years to a wide range of abilities and have a fantastic record for their achievement and progress. I love building a strong rapport with my students, instilling confidence in their ability and use a wide range of teaching methods to suit their needs.
I have extensive experience teaching English from 11+ to GCSE Literature and Language. Creating interesting and unique lessons plans, using modern examples to make texts and poems more relatable is one of my passions.
I am a skilled IELTS teacher, having worked in schools and for International House teaching classes and 1-1 sessions.
Outside of teaching I love visiting art galleries, theatres, music and being very active!
