About Rachel
Hello, I’m Rachel. I am fluent in French and Spanish, with English as my first language. I learnt languages at school and went on to study them at university, when I spent a year living abroad in France and Spain. I still use my language skills daily, at work and in my social life, and I love immersing myself in French and Spanish culture. I am super passionate about teaching languages to others, to enable them to open the door to a new culture.

I am a patient and friendly tutor who learnt French and Spanish from scratch. Now at Master’s level in Languages and Translation, I understand the unique challenges of learning a language for the first time and in particular, the anxiety around speaking. I tailor my approach to each learner’s individual needs and I try to create a relaxed and positive learning environment, using activities and opportunities for discussion.
