I am a Chemistry teacher, currently teaching in a school. I love science, and chemistry in particular, and I love explaining it to other people. Chemistry offers us a whole new way of looking at the world around us and I believe it is accessible to everyone, with the right guidance. I help students to understand the concepts at the heart of their chemistry syllabus, enabling them to approach any exam question with confidence and to see the possibilities that chemistry has to offer beyond the exam hall

I am a Chemistry teacher, currently teaching in a school. I love science, and chemistry in particular, and I love explaining it to other people. Chemistry offers us a whole new way of looking at the world around us and I believe it is accessible to everyone, with the right guidance. I help students to understand the concepts at the heart of their chemistry syllabus, enabling them to approach any exam question with confidence and to see the possibilities that chemistry has to offer beyond the exam hall. I have over 600 hours teaching experience at A-Level, IB and undergraduate level. I build confidence in my students by equipping them to perform at their very best at all times, particularly in respect of GCSE and BTEC,IB,AP A-level examinations My tutoring style is fairly informal - I want my students to be honest with me and to feel comfortable asking questions or admitting that they don’t understand something. If we’ve been over a topic and it still doesn’t make sense, I want them to let me know. I will explain something as many times as I need to, in as many different ways as I can, until we find an explanation that works.
