About Wendy
I am an educator that is passionate about what I do and one of the things that brings me the most joy is seeing how confident a student feels about what they have learned. There is no better feeling than knowing that I have helped a student learn something new or something that they have discovered about themselves, through learning about their own history! I understand that not everyone may have a passion for history, but it really helps us to understand ourselves and the world around us! I have many years of experience with one on one tutoring or in small groups and I have seen so much progress in my students, I know that I will be able to provide that support for you and help you feel confident about what you are learning! P.S I am bilingual, so I can provide tutoring in Spanish if necessary!

As a classroom teacher, I have experience working with a variety of students from general education and special education. Most of my lessons are based on Global History or U.S History High School setting, but they can also be adaptable to different classes or needs. History is my passion and because of this, I always make sure that my lessons are engaging in different ways depending on how the students learn best!I use multiple platforms that such as videos, short documents, presentations, or competitive games that make learning fun for students and help them retain valuable information!
