About Poppy
With a background as a competitive dancer, I have a strong understanding of both the technical and expressive elements of dance. My experience also extends into dance as a creative art form. I see it not just as movement, but as a powerful means of expression and inspiration. Dance has been a lifelong passion of mine and I'm dedicated to sharing that passion with others. I’ve spent the past three years working with children, and I thrive in creating supportive, engaging environments where young dancers can grow in confidence and skill. I'm a firm believer in learning through mistakes and celebrating each dancer’s unique journey. Whether you’re just starting out or need that extra push to reach your goals, I’m here to support, motivate, and be your biggest cheerleader every step of the way.

- Tutoring can be done online or in person at a requested location. - Tutoring can be for improving technique, gaining feedback for solos, stretching and conditioning programs, or assisting in developing choreography. - Lesson times range between 30 minutes to 60 minutes. - Experience in dance teaching children 1-5 but open to teaching all ages and skill levels. - 10 years of competitive dance/gymnastics experience.

- If I am driving to a location further than 15km away there is a $10 starting price to accommodate for travel and fuel costs. - Online classes are cheaper due to the inability to provide in person corrections and potential digital disruptions.
