About Cauan
Music has been at the heart of my life for over 20 years. As a professional musician, composer, producer, and educator, I’ve had the opportunity to perform, create, and teach across a wide range of musical settings in both Brazil and New Zealand.
I currently teach in primary and intermediate schools across Hamilton and the Waikato region, and I also provide private lessons for children, teenagers, and adults. My experience has taught me that every student learns differently, so I take the time to understand each person’s goals and create lessons that are engaging, supportive, and enjoyable.
Parents appreciate my patience, reliability, and ability to connect with children, while adult students value the relaxed and encouraging environment I create. Whether you’re learning for fun, building confidence, or working towards a specific musical goal, I’m committed to helping you make steady progress and enjoy the journey.

My lessons are creative, practical, and tailored to each student’s goals, age, and learning style. I believe the best way to learn music is through a balance of technique, rhythm, creativity, and enjoying the process.
A typical lesson is 30, 45, or 60 minutes and includes warm-ups, rhythm and listening exercises, instrument technique, songs, and creative activities such as improvisation or musical games for younger students. I adapt every lesson to keep students engaged while building strong musical foundations and confidence.
I have over 20 years of professional experience as a musician, composer, producer, and educator, and I currently teach in primary and intermediate schools across Hamilton and the Waikato region through MusiqHub.
My lessons are suitable for children (5+), teenagers, and adults at beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels. Whether you’re starting your first instrument, preparing for performances, or returning to music after a break.
