About Sarah
I am an educator and tutor with a strong background in early childhood education and elementary academics. I have classroom experience supporting early learners in foundational reading, writing, and math skills, along with extensive private tutoring experience working with students from age five through high school.
Over the years, I have worked with a wide range of learners, including students building early literacy skills, those needing targeted academic support, and students seeking enrichment beyond grade level. This experience has given me a strong understanding of how children learn at different stages and how to adapt instruction to meet individual needs.

My teaching approach is engaging, supportive, and tailored to each student's needs. I use hands-on activities, games, and explicit instruction to make learning meaningful while building confidence and independence.
A typical lesson includes a review of previously learned skills, targeted instruction, guided practice, and engaging activities that help students apply what they have learned. I specialize in early literacy, phonics, reading, and writing.
What sets me apart is my experience working with young learners and my ability to create lessons that are active, effective, and enjoyable. I focus on helping students develop strong foundational skills and a love of learning.
I primarily work with Pre-K, kindergarten, first grade, and second grade students, including those who need extra support, intervention, or enrichment.
