About Jenna
I've built houses in Arkansas, taught classrooms abroad, navigated Baltimore City schools, and lived out of a camper van crossing this country and through all of it, one thing has never changed: my love for working with students.

Learning isn't one-size-fits-all — and I genuinely believe every child can thrive when they feel understood. My first priority is always getting to know your child: how they think, what excites them, and how they connect best with new information. Because here's the truth — kids can't retain what they can't relate to.
My lessons follow a natural, consistent flow:
Objective setting — We start by answering "why are we here today?" so students feel grounded and purposeful
Skills review — We revisit previous material to reinforce what's working and flag anything that needs another look
The bridge — A hands-on activity connecting what they already know to where we're headed next
Independent practice — Students try it on their own while I observe, encourage, and adjust in real time
I keep flexibility built into every session because learning is never perfectly linear — and that's okay.
Who I work with: K–5 students navigating Math and Language Arts, whether they're catching up, keeping pace, or ready to push ahead.
