About Rajashree

Who I Am and Why I Want to Teach

I am an experienced educator with a background in primary and secondary education in India and the UK. Since beginning my teaching journey, I have gained valuable experience as a primary school teacher, Teaching Assistant, Cover Supervisor and Supply Maths Teacher. These experiences have helped me understand how children learn and how to adapt my teaching to different abilities, needs and learning styles.

I am passionate about helping children develop confidence, overcome challenges and recognise their potential. For me, teaching is about much more than sharing knowledge; it is about making learning accessible, enjoyable and meaningful.

I chose to offer private tuition because I value the opportunity to work closely with each child, understand their individual needs and provide the focused attention and encouragement that can make a real difference.

My teaching approach is patient, friendly and flexible. I break down challenging concepts into manageable steps, use clear explanations and adapt activities to help each child make progress at their own pace.

I offer personalised tuition in primary Maths and English, as well as support with Buckinghamshire 11+ preparation, particularly mathematical reasoning and problem-solving. Whether your child needs help strengthening their foundations, improving schoolwork or building confidence ahead of the 11+, I aim to create a positive learning environment where they feel comfortable asking questions and learning from mistakes.

Seeing children grow in confidence and recognising their progress is one of the most rewarding parts of teaching. I believe every child can make progress with the right guidance, encouragement and support, and I look forward to helping your child achieve their learning goals.
