About Kelly

I have a bachelor's degree and am certified to teach preK through eighth grade. I was a third and fourth grade teacher for 18 years. This is my third year as an academic coach. I have been tutoring elementary students in reading, writing, math and study skills and middle and high school students in pre-algebra and algebra for over 20 years. I believe in building an understanding for what you are learning as opposed to just memorizing formulas. This will help you learn to problem solve and to retain what you have learned.
