About Maddy
I’m an experienced and passionate Geography teacher, currently an Acting Head of Geography, with 5 years’ experience teaching students from Year 7 through to Year 13.
I achieved a 2:1 from the University of Exeter and a Distinction in my PGCE, including an Outstanding teaching placement. I have excellent subject knowledge and extensive experience teaching students of all abilities, from those struggling to build confidence to those aiming for the very highest grades.
I have also been tutoring for 5 years, with excellent reviews from students and parents. My lessons are engaging, supportive and tailored to each student — combining clear explanations, exam technique and plenty of practice to help students understand Geography, enjoy it and achieve their target grade (or better!).
I’m friendly, enthusiastic and genuinely love teaching Geography. I’m based in Wandsworth, have a car and can offer face-to-face or online tuition.

I want my students to enjoy Geography while becoming more confident and achieving the grades they are capable of.
Every lesson is completely tailored to the individual student — whether they need help understanding tricky topics, improving exam technique, revising case studies or pushing towards the highest grades. My lessons are engaging, varied and interactive, with plenty of opportunities to practise and apply knowledge.
I teach across KS3, GCSE and A-Level and have five years of tutoring experience with excellent feedback from students and parents.
Lessons can be online or face-to-face, with the length and content tailored to what works best for you.
