About Sam
My name is Sam, and I’ve wanted to teach ESL ever since my grandmother brought 6 little old me to visit her English students, and I fell in love with meeting people from such diverse lives!
I’ve followed in her footsteps through the same college degree in English Literature and ESL certifications as well as travelling abroad to learn about different education systems around the world.
I hope I can help more people improve their English and share knowledge together!

I have experience teaching in many styles; in person with large class sizes, small class sizes, special needs education, 1 on 1 lessons through Zoom with international students, phone lessons and more to suit different learners!
My teaching style is student-focused, so I would develop lesson plans with each person’s preferences in mind. I would be happy to help anyone interested in improving their English no matter their age or skill level and provide structured lessons with a bit of fun! My personal goal is to learn as much from my students as they do from me!
