About Tris
Hi everyone! Tutor Tris here from the Philippines. How is it going? I hope you're having a fantastic day! I studied in Southern Philippines College and worked as English tutor for young learners and professionals since 2019. As an experienced online English teacher, I have acquired qualities and skills that can provide you with satisfaction in learning. Teaching different types of learners with diverse backgrounds is my cup of tea since I enjoy meeting new people. I love reading books, backpacking and traveling. I find joy whenever I see my students persevere and expand their knowledge. I ensure you that I create a safe and fun learning environment for my students where they can enjoy and take part in exciting activities like reading, sharing stories, singing songs, and more. Student-Centered / Constructivist Approach
Progress-based learning. 1 hour per lesson.
Methods will include, broadening of vocabulary. Will open conversations by asking open ended questions so that you will be able to learn and gain confidence in using English language in discussions.
30 minutes minimum length of lessons. It can be lengthened to an hour if need be, depending on student request and preference when it comes to improvement.
My lessons are good for those whose first language is not English or for those who are not native English speaking people. For people who have the basic knowledge of using English for speaking, reading and writing but wants to enhance using it in their daily lives and/or using it in discussions.
I have acquired skills that can help you improve your English knowledge and communication skills. I have TEFL certificate and I teach young learner from ages 4-18, young adults and professionals.
