About Sarah-Yvonne
Hello! My name is Sarah Smith! I am a former exceptional classroom instructional assistant and currently work 1-on-1 with autistic children. My academic background is in child development with a focus on the needs of exceptional children. I started my education at Ball State University where I started an undergraduate degree in Family Engagement and Psychology of Human Development. I plan to continue my education online in Human Development and Family Studies.

Hello! My name is Sarah Smith! I am a former instructional assistant for exceptional students and currently work 1-on-1 with children with autism. I find that learning through the natural environment and incorporating a student's existing interests makes learning fun and sustainable for long-term success. I have both the academic background from college as well as hands-on experience with supporting the growth and development of people with intellectual/developmental disabilities. My lessons are for both adults and children with exceptional needs who need support in reading comprehension, phonics, basic math, writing, social and emotional skills, and other skill areas.
