As a tutor, my approach focuses on combining technical skill-building with creative expression to help students develop both confidence and versatility in freestyle dance. I use a hands-on teaching method that includes breaking down complex moves into manageable steps, encouraging improvisation, and fostering a positive, supportive environment where students feel comfortable experimenting and growing.
A typical lesson begins with a warm-up to improve flexibility and coordination, followed by technique drills tailored to the student’s level. We then move on to choreography practice or freestyle exercises that challenge creativity and musicality. I also incorporate feedback sessions to track progress and adapt lessons to meet individual goals.
What sets me apart is my extensive experience as a choreographer and performer, which allows me to offer real-world insights and personalized coaching. I emphasize understanding music rhythm, body awareness, and expression beyond just memorizing steps.
