About Elba
Hi, I'm Elba. I'd first like to answer the question; why would I make a great tutor? As a student myself I can understand what makes teaching enjoyable and what activities successfully promote learning. I understand that each student is different and am willing to approach tutoring from whichever angle necessary to ensure they leave each session feeling confident in what they've learnt. Whether they prefer note taking, diagram drawing, practising via questions, watching videos etc. I'm willing to accommodate for the student's needs and be patient and friendly. I'll take advantage of past papers (for more mature students) and question banks in order to monitor the student's progress. For a little further reassurance, I am currently an A-Level student predicted A*A*A* and have achieved an A* or Level 9 at GCSE in each of the subjects I offer. I'm passionate about English, Maths, and Physics and will employ this enthusiasm in my teaching. Don't hesitate to contact me for a chat!
