About Ruth
I really love teaching Geography! I have 20 years experience and excellent subject knowledge. I hope my passion for the subject will inspire students to love Geography as much as I do. I am a very patient teacher and take time to understand what a pupil needs to enable me to adapt the lessons accordingly. Most pupils who come for lessons want to improve their exam grades so I have plenty of resources and experience in that area.
Availability is daytime during term time and day or evening during school holidays.

I teach students from KS3 to GCSE plus A Level (human only) and take my time making the lessons as interesting and interactive as possible. Since 2020, I have experience working online as well as face to face. I like to use my own powerpoints and use a range of resources including up to date maps, graphs and exam papers to engage and teach students in the skills required to pass their exams and achieve their potential. I adapt the lessons to an individual's needs and requirements to make sure that they are accessing the curriculum fully. I also use my experience working for a leading NGO and research that I did in Uganda for my Geography Masters Degree, to help engage students in the subject. My lessons are one hour.
