About Amy
I am a passionate and dedicated educator, social worker, and homeschooling mom who thrives on creating engaging and meaningful learning experiences. With a master’s degree in social work focused on family and children, I have spent years working in crisis intervention, education, and family support, giving me a deep understanding of child development and individualized learning. As a homeschooling mom, I bring creativity and adaptability to teaching, tailoring lessons to meet the unique needs of each child while making learning fun and interactive. My experience spans working as a teacher’s aide, a CNA, and a crisis nursery worker, all of which have strengthened my ability to connect with children and families in a compassionate and supportive way. Whether in the classroom, at home, or in the community, I am committed to fostering confidence, curiosity, and a love for learning in every child I teach.

My lessons are designed to be fun, interactive, and tailored to each student’s unique learning style! As a homeschooling mom, I understand that every child learns differently, so I incorporate hands-on activities, creative projects, and real-world applications to make learning exciting and meaningful. Whether it’s turning math into a game, bringing history to life through storytelling, or using art and music to reinforce concepts, I strive to create an engaging and supportive environment where students feel confident and motivated. My goal is not just to teach but to ignite curiosity and a lifelong love for learning in every student I work with!
