About Mary
I am a qualified Maths and Physics teacher with a Bachelor of Education in Special Needs Education, specialising in Mathematics and Physics. I have experience teaching in an international school following the British curriculum, including Edexcel IGCSE.
I enjoy helping students understand concepts rather than simply memorising formulas. My teaching approach is patient, supportive and adapted to each student's individual learning style and needs.
I also have a strong interest in Physics research and enjoy connecting classroom concepts to real-world applications. Whether a student needs additional support, wants to build confidence or is preparing for IGCSE examinations, I aim to make every lesson clear, engaging and purposeful.

I offer personalised online Maths and Physics lessons for IGCSE students following the Edexcel and Cambridge curricula. My lessons are designed to make challenging concepts easier to understand through clear explanations, worked examples, diagrams, practical applications and guided problem-solving.
I adapt each lesson to the student's learning needs, whether they need help understanding difficult topics, improving their confidence, completing challenging questions or preparing for examinations. I also provide targeted revision and exam preparation, including past-paper practice and guidance on answering questions effectively.
With experience teaching in an international school, I understand the expectations of both Edexcel and Cambridge IGCSE programmes. My aim is to create supportive, engaging lessons where students can ask questions freely, strengthen their understanding and make steady progress.
Lessons are conducted online and can be tailored to the student's current level, goals and preferred pace.
