About Laura
I am a mother to my 2 and half year old girl and I want to create a great future for her and so she is my inspiration and motivation every day. I have a genuine passion for helping young people do and be their best and I feel that through my approach, children can achieve their potential and build the vital skills to become a great mathematician. I have been a teacher in years 3-6, for 12 years and in all that time I have been a tutor. As well, I am a life coach for kids, and find that really helps me understand children and really help them with any confidence issues they may have which might block them from achieving their full potential.

A range of activities and teaching approaches used, including quick fire games, mental arithmetic short -burst tasks, test style questions, pictorial representations used to explain methods, informal testing, modelling and practising of different concepts to encourage greater independence and help children’s confidence and self esteem grow.
