About Erica

I have a passion for helping others learn, build confidence, and reach their goals. My professional background includes over 20 years of experience in learning and development, leadership, and coaching.

I hold a bachelor’s degree in Psychology, an MBA, and a master’s degree in Nonprofit Management. I’m also currently pursuing my PhD in Industrial-Organizational Psychology.

Throughout my career, I’ve worked with individuals from different backgrounds and learning styles. I’ve learned the importance of being patient, listening, and finding ways to make learning easier to understand.

I believe learning should be encouraging, not intimidating. My goal is to create a comfortable environment where students feel supported, can ask questions, and develop confidence in their abilities.

Outside of my professional work, I enjoy continuing my own education and spending time with my two dogs, Dulce and Diego.

My goal is to help students feel more confident in their ability to learn and succeed. I understand that everyone learns differently, so I take time to understand each student’s needs and adjust my approach accordingly.

I offer support in Algebra, Geometry, general Mathematics, and College Preparation. Lessons are tailored to each student’s goals, whether they need help understanding concepts, completing assignments, preparing for exams, or improving study habits.

During our sessions, we’ll work through problems together, break down challenging concepts into manageable steps, and practice applying what we’ve learned. I encourage questions and create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking for help.

I work primarily with middle school and high school students. Lessons are available virtually or in person in the West Houston, Memorial, and Spring Branch areas.
