About Sanet

I'm a lecturer at a private higher education institution with a passion for Afrikaans. I have a masters degree in Afrikaans. I reside in Pretoria East, but lecture in Sandton and Midrand. I believe everyone can be fluent in Afrikaans.

About the lesson

Lessons are tailor-made to suit the needs of the student. An assessment of needs are done at the beginning. Students are given activities to test their learning. I believe in using constructivist methodology. The student must be actively involved in learning. Afrikaans makes use of a basic set of grammar rules and the student will be guided through this.

Sanet was my Afrikaans major lecturer at the University of the Witwatersrand for 3 years. She is the most patient, thorough and friendly mentor you will ever need in your life and through out your studies. Sanet is always willing to go the extra mile for her students to meet each one's individual needs. Her knowledge and teaching methods are amazing. Would definitely recommend her!
