Alex is a student along with me in my university class. He has a lot of empathy and kindness, and he truly cares about helping others. He gives great motivation and helps others when they are struggling, whether that’s with work or personally. You can rely on him to help you no matter what, and he has a lot of patience. He's been ahead of everything in this SENDIP course and has done really well the whole way through. He helped me with my uni work, answering my questions if I needed help and explaining things clearly and simply so I understood exactly what I needed to do and how. He showed patience when I asked lots of questions or often asked him to explain again.

I have been in class with Alex for the past three years studying for our degree. Their understanding and knowledge around different needs is fantastic, sharing ideas and strategies and listening intently to others is a key strength and positive attitude and encouragement doesn’t go unnoticed!

Alex is an enthusiast for supporting children and young people with additional needs. He has sound knowledge of what issue neurodiverse individuals can face and is effective in helping those students to manage their difficulties. He relates well to students and staff alike.
