I am a 19-year-old Drama and screenwriting student studying at The University of Worcester. An A grade student with a passion for grammar and writing, from poetry to plays to Tv scripts. I'm a practical teacher and find my methods work best with students who have trouble concentrating or engaging in the normal pen to paper lessons.
I've tutored a few students before, and as an avid reader, think that I could definitely help anyone who wants to improve their reading speed or quality.
My name is Hannah and I’m a student Midwife at UoW. I have done multiple courses before this, including L3 Children’s Care Learning & Development and L3 Access to Healthcare.
My teaching method is based on identifying the weakest areas and creating a solid understanding of these before building on knowledge and most importantly skills of the designated subject. I would use methods to test understanding after the things I have covered.
My teaching method is very pupil focussed and tailored to the needs of the individual, how best they learn and what they would want to cover. I am flexible in my approach but will always be prepared to meet a learners needs.
I am an Education Studies graduate and an experienced GCSE English tutor based in Worcestershire, UK. I provide engaging lessons, structured to promote high learning retention. Lesson materials are tailored to accommodate individual learning differences and interests of each student.
I adapt the lessons and topics according to the students' needs. I encourage students to be confident and expressive. I will always make lesson plans and long-term goals for students' progress but I will also try to make the classes fun and spontaneous. I can also teach mindfulness to those students who find studying/exams stressful.
I give private English Tuition to children at primary level. I work from home only as I have all my resources to hand. I will always keep parents updated with the progress their child has made. I am friendly, approachable and easy to talk to.
A friendly, teacher of English who has 11 years teaching experience in schools across the city. Currently teaching in a large secondary school in Birmingham.
My preferred teaching method is using hands on, visual and fun activities to make learning enjoyable. I begin my lessons with a short starter, to gain an understanding of the child's previous knowledge and reinforce concepts from the previous lesson. This may include 'splatting' the correct number with fly swatters.
I am happy to tutor at a variety of levels, whether simply assisting younger children at Key Stages 1-2 with literacy and spelling homework and improving reading and comprehension skills, all the way up to AS and A level English literature, including giving tutoring assistance for secondary school age in preparation for GCSE English literature.
