About Gina
I take my subject matter very seriously because English and Literature are more than reading and writing!! It’s about critical thinking and analysis. I love to find the true meaning wrapped up in a piece of literature and I love using the information to analyze characters. Informational reading requires a different set of skills and it’s fun to use those skills to unlock the knowledge the author wants us to know. And here’s what they don’t tell you in school…English strategies will not only help you pass your tests, they will also help you out in the world - communicating and working in the public. I’ve said so many times that I LOVE THIS SUBJECT. It’s a passion of mine and I’d like to show you that it can be fun and interesting.

I try to make English relatable to our lives today. For example, Romeo and Juliet’s story is still playing out in our world today!! I have such a huge passion for reading and writing and I like to think that enthusiasm flows out of me into my lessons. I am also an English II state tested teacher so I know all about the stress and anxiety associated with it. I hope I can help!!!
