My lessons are tailored to the needs of the student, using an empathic approach to build confidence and encourage the student's critical thinking. After our initial discussion, I will design a curriculum to assist the student outlining their goals, offering classes that translate complex ideas into clear, understandable exercises. I adjust classes to suit the needs of students and have extensive reading lists to help expand their approach to their subjects and courses alongside case studies and examples to ground concepts covered in our classes. I teach across the social sciences alongside English writing skills. In Anthropology, Sociology and Political Science I can support students up to Master's level and I have experience teaching history and English literature up to secondary education. I also support students with their dissertations and university applications.
