About Julie
I am a counselling social worker having worked in both community and hospital health care settings for 7 years and have facilitated over 200 clients in developing positive thinking skills. I also have a background in teaching of 17 years. Currently completing my Master's in Mental Health Practice. I hold several credentialled qualifications: Graduate Certificate in Mental Health Practice, Graduate Certificate in Creative and Experiential Art Therapies, Bachelor of Social Work, Graduate Diploma in Teaching (Secondary), Bachelor of Education/Bachelor of Teaching. Member of the AASW.

My teaching method is hands on and practical but tailored to the needs of the student. I need to know what you want to achieve so that I can provide appropriate activities. I like to set a goal, provide an explanation, undertake some practice, answer any questions through discussion and provide feedback.
