About Amy
I am qualified Primary School Teacher from Melbourne, Australia. For the last 10 years I have been travelling around the world, teaching as I go. I have taught English, Primary Education and Physical Education, each one giving me valuable experiences that have enriched my teaching strategies.
Through my years of teaching, I have worked with students all over the world and have found facilitating hands-on learning experiences is a critical component of students achieving a deeper understanding of concepts. My teaching experiences with different cultures and curriculums around the world have taught me the importance of creating strong relationships with both students and the community to which they belong.
My aim is to actively engage the students I teach and to inspire them to become life-long learners themselves. I believe that every child has their own personality and way of learning and it is my passion to encourage each student to blossom in every way possible.

I am a teacher who strongly believes in creating meaningful learning experiences and building positive relationships with my students. My aim is to actively engage, and to do this I shape my lessons according to the student's learning needs and personalities. As much as possible, I will make lessons fun and fast paced to keep my students focused.
A typical lesson will last 30 to 60 minutes depending on the student's age.
I have taught in Australia, Thailand, Bulgaria, Turkey, South Africa and I am now based in London UK, where I teach in Primary Schools regularly. For English and Maths lessons I specialise in ages 5 to 11, whereas in English as a foreign language up to 16 years old.
