About Adriana
I am an experienced tutor and teacher with experience working with students at the elementary, middle, and high school level. My background in tutoring includes experience professionally tutoring students online and in an in-person school setting. My professional teaching experience includes the completion of a year-long teacher residency program in Boston, Massachusetts where I taught students in grades K-10. I've worked closely with highly skilled mentor teachers and developed successful teaching skills and strategies to best support my students. Over my career, I've completed over 200 hours of both individual and group tutoring sessions and have helped students of all ages accomplish their goals. I've witnessed my students gain self-confidence, rediscover the joy of learning, develop a growth mindset, and master new skills and concepts through the work we accomplish together.

Sessions are led using a student-centered approach, creating a welcoming and empowering environment for students to be active participants in their learning. I work to understand each students goals, strengths, and areas of growth. My work centers on instilling confidence in students through the process of practicing mastering new and existing skills.
My specialism is in Reading, Writing and Phonetics skills progression. I provide engaging materials for sessions including worksheets, readings, graphs, games, and other activities designed for the students particular level and goals. I provide lesson curriculum for students with IEPS, including ADHD, Dyslexia, and other learning differences.
Students may provide materials to review such as homework, assignments, and projects. Sessions are available to students of all levels.
