About Louis
I have trained as a science and mathematics teacher and taught in two different schools. Currently I am tutoring students in person in my local area, and online. Most of my students see an improvement of one grade or more after 10+ sessions.

Hi!
I am a professional private tutor with experience teaching GCSE and A level science (both privately and in schools). In addition, I have also delivered tutorials via skype to university students covering more advanced topics in physics, philosophy and mathematics. I thoroughly enjoy tutoring, and am always happy to discuss aspects of subjects I find interesting with students.
My specialty areas include the philosophy of science, Wittgenstein, the philosophy of language, general relativity , statistical mechanics and the philosophy of physics. I am able to teach subjects such as tensor calculus and real analysis to more mathematically advanced students.
I also teach both classical and jazz piano and guitar, and have a number of years experience working as a private music teacher. Students can opt to be taken through graded material through an exam board such as ABRSM, or explore areas that might interest them, such as improvisational skills or music theory.
