About Joanna

Sign language is important to me because the deaf community is often overlooked and misunderstood, and I love the moment a learner's face lights up when they are finally understood. Alongside teaching sign language for communication, I also provide patient academic support, helping deaf students who struggle with schoolwork get the guidance they deserve.

About the lesson

I help you or your child learn sign language through interactive, real-life practice using visual demonstrations, guided conversations, role-play, and step-by-step repetition, while also providing extra academic support for deaf students who need help understanding school lessons. Whether you’re a parent wanting to communicate better with your deaf child, or simply learning sign language as a hobby or for connection, I tailor each session to your goals, pace, and confidence level to make learning simple, practical, and engaging.
