About Mary
I am a qualified teacher with experience in Dyslexia and Maths tutoring. I have worked with students aged seven to fifteen years, both in school and privately. All my private students have gone on to achieve good grades in SATS or GCSE.

I base my lessons entirely on the needs of each individual student, starting where they are confident, and building skills and understanding step by step. There will be some elements of precision teaching, alongside regular recapping and practice, using fun and games to reinforce new learning in an enjoyable way. I aim to build a friendly and positive relationship with every student, helping to keep them motivated should the going get tough. Parents can help by supporting daily five minute practice activities, to keep learning 'warmed up'.
