About Patricia
I am an experienced teacher living in the South Auckland area. I am a Principal at a very special school that uses horses as therapy tools. Horses are one of my other favorite past times, as is teaching. So I feel very blessed to be at a school that has both. Being a teacher for me is about ensuring success for my students, whatever that my look like for them and their whanau.

Teaching and learning is responsive. Building and maintaining relationships is very important. I cater to the needs of my students. Although learning can be enjoyable, it also can be hard and frustrating. I support my students by acknowledging their strengths and weaknesses to help push through times where they feel frustrated and stuck - this in turn builds resilience and courage to try.
