About Jody
I have worked in primary schools for the past 20 years. I have taught in Nursery, Reception, Years 1 and 2 and worked in leadership. I am fully qualified and DBS checked.
I love to unpick the best ways of delivering new concepts to the little people I work with! I believe the process of learning should be fun, playful and purposeful and that good relationships are central to helping a child achieve their full potential.

I have 20 years' experience in teaching children aged 3-7 years. This includes preparing children for the Year 1 Phonics Screening Test and end of KS1 tests.
I am confident working with children with a range of SEN and those with English as an additional language. My lessons are designed to be fun and engaging, building on children’s previous knowledge in small steps that enable them to be successful and build confidence.
