About Maryam
Remember that one teacher who made learning feel effortless? That's the teacher I strive to be.
Hi, I'm Maryam, Master's in Chemistry and a B.Ed degree holder with 7+ years of teaching experience of teaching science in the UAE, an IELTS Band 8, and a passion for proving that Science isn't difficult... it's just waiting to be explained the right way.
My classes are full of questions, conversations, little "Aha!" moments, and the occasional "Why didn't anyone explain it like this before?" I believe mistakes are signs that learning is happening, so you'll never have to worry about getting an answer wrong in my class.
With a background in scientific research, curriculum development, and educational content creation, I know what students need to understand concepts deeply, not just memorize them for an exam.

I don't believe Science is difficult, I believe it's often taught that way. My goal is to turn confusion into curiosity and formulas into stories that actually make sense. Instead of asking students to memorize, I help them understand why things happen. Once the "why" clicks, the marks follow naturally.
