About Patrick
Welcome to the Voss Acting studio! I'm Patrick Voss Davis. I am extremely passionate about taking the mystery out of acting. In my lessons we'll develop a bunch of tools that will give you the knowledge to fully understand and break down a script for the camera or the stage. Students will learn how to use the camera to their advantage in a self tape audition. They'll get the inside scoop on what to expect when heading to set or stage on any size production. We'll even get into the intricacies of 'crying' in front of hundreds of audience members vs. 'crying' for the camera! (P.S. you usually never HAVE to cry for real :)) I've learned a lot since I've graduated from Carnegie Mellon's Drama School and moved to NYC, and I love sharing what I'm learning! Come work with me! You can catch my work most easily on Episodes of Law & Order and FBI, and a new Netflix series, 'Sirens', set to release mid 2025! Dig a bit deeper, and you'll find off broadway credits and a mirage of Indie Films. I've even spent years behind the camera, working as a Grip on many major TV shows, including And Just Like That and The Crowded Room.
