About Abimael
I'm a writer, director, actor and producer with more than 25 years of experience. I've been teaching for around 18 years in Spanish and English.
One of the things that I enjoy the most is to help my students to get the skills and develop their talents to reach their goals in their careers. Every time I see that one of my students is working as a professional actor, writer, director, screenwriter or producer I feel very proud of them and happy to have been part of their lives.
I started teaching in Puerto Rico. My first experience teaching was as drama teacher with kids.
I studied Drama, Education and Communications, and also I have more than 25 years working in the industry.

The first thing that I do with a student is an interview to know what does he/she wants, his or her prior knowledge or training and what is his or her goals.
I've worked with kids, teens and adults students.
One of the most important things that you have to consider when you are thinking about hiring a teacher is his academic background and his experience in the field that he is teaching.
After Hurricane Maria struck Puerto Rico, I've been following and compromised in the efforts to help Puerto Rico to get on their feet again.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
One important thing that a student should know before taking any classes with a teacher is how important is for himself his compromise to study and to learn the discipline that he's supposed to be learning. Another thing is that the student needs to be honest with himself about where he is right now in terms of the development of his talents and his skills. These two issues would help the student to design with the teacher the perfect strategy to achieve his or her goals.
