About LyaNisha
I am a theater professor in Montgomery with my M.F.A. in Acting from The Actor's Studio Drama School in NYC. I have taught acting classes for several years, as well as courses in playwriting and other areas of theater literary study. I utilize the Stanislavski method of acting primarily, but also use exercises that come from Meisner as well. I follow the lead of the student and allow them to make their own discoveries of truth--because acting is not about hiding or deceiving, it is always primarily about discovering and revealing truthful action, which leads to truthful emotions.
