About Peter
I am a professional actor, acting teacher, and director. You might know me from "The Americans" on TV, where for four seasons I portrayed KGB agent Vassily. I have worked with Tom Hanks in "Cast Away", and have appeared on stage at The Kennedy Center, Hartford Stage, The Fulton Opera House and the Westport Country Playhouse. I have taught acting for over 20 years, my particular expertise being in coaching actors in Shakespeare. I have studied with Uta Hagen, and trained in Shakespeare with John Barton and Patsy Rodenburg. I also coach people with Russian accents in getting rid of their accents. Currently I teach acting at the Episcopal Actors Guild.
