About Perry
My name is Perry Cavitt. I am DePaul University Theatre School Graduate. I have worked as a Professional Actor, Writer, And Director in the Chicagoland area for years.
I have worked in several productions on Stage Film, Commercials, Voiceovers, and Toured Europe. I teach Drama Residencies as part of After School Programs and Summer Camps. I’ve worked for Hallery 37, and After School Matters. I’ve taught Drama at The Christopher School, Frances Xavier Ward School, The Lab Academy, and The Byrd School.
I work with young students from K -8th grade. Teach my students how to organize their thoughts and ideas in order to create and perform their own play by brainstorming together as a group. My program builds confidence, promotes, teamwork, and promotes self esteem.
I start with Improv and Theatre Games to get the student relaxed and comfortable enough to work together.
My program ends with a final performances of their work.
