Custom tailored to your level, whether you are a beginner just exploring the world of acting to an experienced professional looking to hone your skills, come take a challenging yet fun dive into an exploration of the craft, focusing on monlogues and partner scenework with expert guidance and coaching. Whether you are grad school audition prepping, professional auditon coaching, or beginner skill building, we have the program for you!
Seeing an actor's growth in the craft-based approach is exciting and rewarding. I love seeing my students achieve their goals in the industry, whether it be graduate school audition success to professional audition mastery to learning the basic tools of the craft.
"I've been passionate about teaching for my entire career, working with a lot of extremely talented people and observing their recurring mistakes; The major difference being between technical and craft based work. Utilizing the craft approach, I can guarantee you a truth-based method that will unlock your inner artist and bring your personal truth to the forefront of your work, which will make you stand out in a crowd, from the massive droves of auditioners to your professional coworkers."
20 years of award winning professional experience directing and acting!

I've worked with every level, beginners to advanced professonal actors who want to hone their craft. I've also worked with many actors on their grad school applications with a HIGH level of success!
Auditioning for a craft program in a school? Start here and we'll work together to get you into that program, or I'll find a sutiable replacement for you. Start with me and you will get the training you need to jump-start your career!
Look for someone with professional experience doing what you seek to learn. There are so many "coaches" preying off of inexperienced actors, particularly in NYC; Hold them to a high standard. If they can teach it, they should be able to work in the field. If they can't, they have no business teaching you. You owe it to yourself to hold your teachers accountable.
The year 2020 and the Covid-19 Pandemic, while tragically devastating in so many ways has created a new breed of artists, many of whom are creating work in new and exciting ways. The state of art will forever be changed, no matter how different it may be going forward.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
It's important to know your goals, what you want to achieve, and why it's imprtant to you to achieve them. This work is process-based, meaning it isn't product/objective driven. It's not about immediate results, but about learning a technique that will serve you for the entirety of your career. That's a huge investment of time and effort! It's imperative that you have a firm foundation in what you want to achieve.

Jason is an incredible actor, director, artist, and communicator. He not only brings a wealth of knowledge as a professional actor, but an ability to communicate about the craft of acting. He is amazing at teaching students about not only how to grow and develop in their artistry, but also how to purse a career in the field. As a professor of theater arts my former students ask for recommendations on who to continue their training with. Jason is first and foremost who comes to mind.
Jason is able to strike a natural tone that is comforting, disarming, but driving at the same time. He is frank and knowledgeable, with an actor's toolkit that is specific, useful, and effective. I never really thought about all the different ways to approach performing that can all be so helpful and so truthful. I am infinitely grateful for these lessons and I think my career will surely benefit from the professionalism, confidence, and consistent performance abilities that I gained through it. You should take this class.
The instructor, Jason, is a true professional who knows what it takes to book jobs. He helps refine your ability to bring characters to life with honesty and specificity. Bonus: the flexible schedule is fantastic! Highly recommended!
