About Shelby
I have been a tutor for the past 8 years. During my time in college (Spring Hill College), I volunteered at different middle and high schools throughout Mobile, AL. I have the most experience in helping with Math, but I have tutored all subjects (even helping with ACT prep).
I just got back from Syracuse, New York, where I did a year of service with the Jesuit Volunteer Corps working with refugee youth. I did after-school programming until COVID hit, and then I primarily worked with the teachers & the students to best support my students.
I have helped a variety of different age groups, subjects, and English-speaking levels. I bring humor and passion to tutoring sessions, and I always want my students to feel comfortable and successful.
