About Mackenzi
I create specially designed instructional supports to help students succeed! I strive for my students to become more independent and teach them how to use their strengths to identify and remediate weaknesses. I have a background in special education, intervention services, and school psychology.
I enjoy helping students learn not only about their subjects of study but also themselves!
My undergraduate study was in special education, so I have experience in breaking down concepts and scaffolding instructional support for students. My graduate study is an extension of that to school psychology; I currently hold a master of education in intervention services and am completing my education specialist degree in school psychology. I have also been a speech and debate coach for the last five years and have presented at conferences at local, state, and national levels.

I like to gauge where student's needs are and begin with reviewing what they know prior to progressing to where they are experiencing difficulty.
On other platforms, I have worked with students K-12 and those also enrolled in post-secondary education on a variety of topics. I have experience working with students with disabilities and learning difficulties.
Look for a teacher that is willing and able to teach the style of your learning!
