About Sangya
I am Sangya! I am passionate about helping people reach their professional goals. I train them for success! I have a BA from a prestigious liberal arts college, Colby College, where I was a Davis Scholar. I was a double major in Government and Economics. As a result of my stellar performance, I was inducted into Pi Sigma Alpha, the honors society for Political Science. In addition to honors in Government, I graduated with a distinction in Economics.
I have deep passion for learning and teaching. I thoroughly enjoyed my time in college. I have done mentorship programs in the past and have coached people. Feel free to reach out to me for any advice or help - looking forward to getting to know you! :)
I have a Bachelors of Arts in Government and Economics.
At Colby, I have successfully mentored women and international students to pursue a career in Finance for 3 years.

I book an initial call with the student to understand their background and figure out their needs. I asked students what they are looking for by the end of the tutoring program. I make a plan for us and set small goals so that they student can see its improvement and I can track our progress. I also do check ins with the students to see if their needs have shifted.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
1. They should try to assess what they want to get out of tutoring
2. Is it just one subject they want to focus on? Maybe 2? Working with the same teacher on different subjects is helpful as they can build a good rapport.
