About Ganapathy
I teach my students how to think and to never stop asking why.
Seeing the face of a student light up with the joy of having understood the subject matter is a sublime experience.
Teaching has always been my passion and has also been a requirement of my last 3 full-time job positions (in addition to the current one).
I am a certified Lean & Six Sigma subject matter instructor at Voith Paper.
Master's degree in Materials Science from Wayne State University (Detroit, MI, U.S.A.)
American Society of Quality certified CMQ/OE, CQE & CSSBB (expert in Lean & Six Sigma)
First language of instruction from Kindergarten till present day: English

I first ask the student what their goal is.
I then have the student do a brief (10 questions) diagnostic test timed for 20 minutes to get an idea of precisely where they stand on the subject mattter.
Then we work towards closing that gap.
Students from 4th to 12th grades (Mathematics & Science)
Full-time shop-floor employees (Lean & Six Sigma tools)

I taught a colleague of mine how to use Pivot Charts in MS Excel in 10 minutes.
She was absolutely overjoyed that she finally understood how to use this powerful data manipulation & analysis tool.
