About Carolyn
I am a teacher and professional tutor with over 20 years of experience. I believe in a holistic approach to learning. I like to get a feeling for the students learning style and preferences, and give suggestions for creating a healthy learning environment based on that style and preferences. I focus on organization skills and study strategies, while incorporating real-life applications. As far as content, my area of focus is Biology. I can tutor most courses in Biology, including General Biology, Cellular Biology, Environmental Science, Anatomy and Physiology and Microbiology.
I enjoy making connections with people and helping them achieve academic success.

Carolyn and I have been working together since I first started at HACC. She is amazing with different tactics to incorporate studying biology material into. She roots for you when you have doubts and is a great person altogether. I definitely recommend her if you are going for any science based career field!
