About Amanda
Master of Science in Entomology from University of Nebrasa-Lincoln, Bachleor of Arts in Communication Studies from Iowa State University, Bachelor of Liberal Studies from Iowa State University, and experience as a Paraprofessional and Tutor in public schools.
I started as a Substitute Teacher and then as a Paraprofessional and Tutor. I love seeing that moment in a student when it finally clicks and the light goes on in their eyes.

Meet with the student and their parents/guardians to discuss the work we will be doing. This gives us a chance to determine what strengths the student has and what things they would most like to work on. It also gives us a chance to get to know each other and see if working together will be a good fit!
I am willing to work with all ages and ranges of abilities. I have worked in a public school with grades 6-12. I am experienced with students with special needs and those that require the assistance of technology to communicate.
