About Ginna
I think that a big mistake when it comes to teaching is using one approach. I have a lot of patience and understand that not every individual learns the same. I try different approaches until students understand concepts thoroughly and master the material.
I love knowing that I am able to help students reach their academic milestones by helping them master topics they struggle with.
At home, I began tutoring my nieces who needed math help.
Additionally, I started tutoring classmates in undergrad and worked as a teaching assisistant. I loved being able to help others excell academically.
I received A's in my chemistry courses in undergrad. Additionally, the my knowledge in chemistry was strengthened in my preparation for the Dental Admissions Test

I narrow down what concept the student is struggling and come up with a plan (which includes a lot of practice problems) to help the student master the topic.
I have worked with children ages 9-12 and adults.
I would tell the student to make sure to pick a tutor which they can relate to and they are sure is knowledgable of the topics they are going to teach.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
I would say the most important things to communicate to the teacher is what topics they need the most help with, and what their learning style is.
