About Elizabeth
I have graduated from Eastern Connecticut State University with a degree in Environmental Earth Science in a concentration in General Earth Science. I was accepted into the Sigma Gamma Epsilon (EES Honor Society). I have taken many different liberal arts classes as well. So if you have questions about other classes or study skills I am more than willing to help :) I have a certification in higher education tutoring from my university and tutored there for a year in a half! I am looking for jobs in the GIS, Ecology, Biology and general Earth Science field. Let me know how I can help you! Can not wait to hear from you :)!
I have a bachelor's degree in Environmental Earth Science, I also got a higher education tutoring certificate and training from the Academic Service Center at Eastern Connecticut State University!

I used to get tutored myself, so I want to make sure the person is comfortable with me, knows my background and feels they are able to talk to me. Then I ask them generally where they are struggling, I ask to see their previous exams and work to gauge where they need to help. I also ask for their lecture notes so I can be as prepared to tutor them before our session starts!
I usually work with college students from freshman to seniors, I have no preference, I am willing and able to work with anyone :)
I would say do not be scared to ask questions, and ask for help! I know its not always easy but once you take the first step we can help you from there!
My college's honor society went to a middle school to go teach the basics of geology to middle school students. It was very fun to go there and connect with students and get to know them and their interests!

Lemire was incredibly patient and helpful in the earth sciences. She helped me understand karst landforms for my geomorphology class, something that I was having trouble with. She really is there to help you succeed.
