About Patrick
I obtained a PhD in biomedical sciences from the University of Cambridge and I am currently an active scientist working in the field. I have published several research articles in this field and have a broad knowledge in general biology, but specialize in disciplines including cell biology, molecular biology, genetics, and biochemistry. Throughout my scientific career I have mentored several undergraduate university students, providing one on one instruction, and I am looking forward to the opportunity to provide instruction and useful insights to help students get the most out of their education in biology!!

During my PhD training I was required to mentor and teach several undergraduate students in a one on one situation in order to help them learn biological concepts.
I obtained a PhD in biomedical sciences from the University of Cambridge with particular focus on cell biology, molecular biology, genetics, and biochemistry. I have also personally mentored several university undergraduate students in the biological sciences during the course of my scientific training.

Each process will vary considerably from student to sudent. However, an initial discussion and evaluation of the current concepts a student is having difficulty with provides a useful starting point by which one can create a personlized teaching strategy.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Students should go through their recent academic records such as assignments and exams in order to evaluate which areas they believe require the most attention. In other words, determine which subject matter is proving the most difficult to understand. By first creating an honest assessment of strengths and weaknesses, moving forward one can create a personalized teaching experience for individual students.
